Privacy Notice: Protection of Personal Information Act (‘POPI’)

Definitions:

- "Operator": As defined in the Protection of Personal Information Act, 4 of 2013.

- "Personal Information": As defined in the Protection of Personal Information Act, 4 of 2013.

Protection of Personal Information

 

(a) You hereby authorize Vosburg Camino, a partnership that operates as an outdoor adventure and tour facilitator in South Africa, to collect your Personal Information as it pertains to this Agreement and/or service we are providing for you, or as deemed relevant for such service provision.

 

(b) Vosburg Camino is committed to adhering to national legislation and regulations regarding data privacy.

 

(c) Vosburg Camino will use the information you have provided to perform our services, including processing invoices, credit notes, statements, and any other documents related to our services.

 

(d) You confirm that we may share your personal information with the following parties, who are obligated to keep your personal information secure and confidential:

- Employees of Vosburg Camino who need to be informed of the personal information to attend to the services supplied.

- All third parties who may assist us in supplying the services.

 

(e) We undertake not to disclose your personal information unless legally or contractually required.

 

(f) We agree to use all reasonable efforts to ensure your personal information in our possession is kept confidential, stored securely, and processed in terms of POPI.

 

(g) You hereby acknowledge and warrant that:

- Vosburg Camino is entitled to process and store your Personal Information as outlined in Vosburg Camino’s Privacy Policy.

- Vosburg Camino is entitled and authorized by you to transfer any Personal Information to any of its Operators.

- Vosburg Camino is entitled to store and back-up your Personal Information on its servers.

 

You confirm that you have read and agree to Vosburg Camino’s Privacy Policy, and hereby provide your consent for Vosburg Camino to process your personal information. You acknowledge that you understand the purpose for which it is required and for which it will be used.
